Letter from the Chairman

Dear TFI Members and Friends,

Thank you for the privilege of serving you as chairman of the 2021 TFI Reunion.

The TFI Committee is pleased to announce our pick of Penang as the venue for TFI 2021.

Penang’s peaceful, quiet atmosphere with a relaxed pace of life reminiscent of our hometown’s 1950’s and 60’s are not the only appeal of this unique Malaysian island, known as the “Pearl of the Orient”.

A fascinating fusion of eastern and western influences, Penang is Malaysian’s most tourist-visited destination. The island manages to embrace modernity while retaining its colonial traditions and rich history; due to well-preserved heritage building Penang’s capital, Georgetown, has been accorded a listing as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

Not at the least to mention, that it has been named the “Culinary Capital of Malaysia”. It’s authentic culinary delicacies, Char Kway Teow, Chicken Rice, Nyonya Cuisine, Cendol, Nyonya Ang Koo Kuih are genuinely mouth-watering.

All of these greatly positive parameters plus the staying and having our TFI REUNION 2021 in the best and most historical hotel of Penang, The Eastern and Oriental, known as E and O Hotel, the choice for many of the world’s most discerning traveler will absolutely guarantee the bringing back of warm togetherness being the theme of our TFI 2021 REUNION, as it had always been in the past.

We would like to take you all to the original TFI reunion format where the emphasis is to meet and catch up with old friends as well as getting to know new friends better, in the spirit of togetherness and brotherhood, based on the same background of Rayuan Pulau Kelapa.
